The Administrative Services Division of the Scotland County School District includes the following: Human Resources, Transportation, Maintenance, Energy Management, School Food Services, Student Support Services, Safe and Drug Free Schools, Athletics, Policy Administration, Community Schools and Public Information as well as the oversight of the Small Learning Communities located on the Scotland High School campus.
The primary purpose of the Administrative Services Division is to provide prompt service and support to schools as they work to educate our students. Each department within the Administrative Services Division works to carry out the mission of the Scotland County Board of Education and to make a positive difference in the lives of students as we prepare them for the future. It takes a large number of support staff such as custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, maintenance workers, clerical staff and others to serve the seven thousand-plus students who attend our schools each day. The Administrative Services Division takes great pride in making Scotland County a leader in North Carolina’s public education system.
Go Scots!
