Our school counselor is Mrs.
Robinson.
She is available to help you and your child
have a
successful school year.
Some of the services of our
counseling program include:
Small groups to help with self-esteem,
friendships, conflict resolution and study skills;
Individual sessions to help students adjust
to and get along better with peers at school;
Weekly classroom guidance lessons that focus
on character traits and behavioral issues
as outlined in the county’s Character Education curriculum and behavior policy;
Test coordination of standardized tests for
third, fourth and fifth grade students;
School-wide character education projects
aimed at developing students’ interests in community service;
Parent consultation on a
variety of topics, including testing, academic referrals and behavioral issues.
