Welcome visitors! I am so pleased that you stopped by our web
site to see what we are all about and to learn of the great things happening at
I. Ellis Johnson!
We are off to a great start and have
many special events and activities planned for the year. Besides having an academic day focused on
meeting the state curriculum objectives, we also have assemblies, fund raisers
and field trips. Our student council
bridges communication between students and staff allowing for a student voice
to be heard. Our active PTO works hard
to raise funds for instructional goals and to support our field trips this year.
As Assistant Principal, I work very
closely with our bus drivers and transportation department to ensure that our
children are safe on the road to and from school each day. We do expect proper behavior and have a plan
of rewards and consequences in place to support our expectations.
Our campus is working to ensure the safety
of all on campus with regular safety drills and emergency procedures. We would like to thank our parents and
families who work hard to make our safety initiatives work so well.
I look forward to a very productive
year of “soaring above and beyond”! If
