A Message from the Principal
Welcome the Ninth Grade Academy’s webpage! As the principal of the class of 2013, I am so excited about the possibilities of such bright futures that graduating from high school will bring for each child!
The collective goal of the faculty and staff is to help ease the transition from middle school into Scotland High School’s Ninth Grade Academy. We realize that transitioning into high school is a major event that needs the special attention provided by the faculty and staff in the Ninth Grade Academy.
In order to be successful, it is important that students remember to take the course work and attendance seriously. They should pass every class in addition to the End of Course tests, exams, and Vo-Cats tests that apply to each class.
Parents and guardians, please encourage your children to take the ninth grade SERIOUSLY. It is a pathway to their success in the school that they choose after completing the ninth grade as well as in their future college, military, and workforce pathways.
