Black Cloud Project

This project will be used as a final project to enhance student’s knowledge. Students will be responsible to design, fabricate, build, sale, and ship the completed project. Students will form a business and carry out day-to-day operations within the business. We will integrate all forms of discipline into the project. Students will learn in-depth studies of the design process. Students will complete and sale the project for next year’s project funds. The following is a list of duties to be performed in other areas:

1. Manufacturing - Responsible to design and build the project

2. Welding - Will fabricate parts and weld braces

3. Drafting - Draw the design on AutoCAD

4. History - Make a report on the history of motorcycles

5. English - Make a sales information sheet and place ad on E-bay

6. Math - Give specs on project (Horsepower, weight, and ratios)

7. Science - Explore best gas and oil to use in project chemical tests

8. Construction/Masonry - responsible for building crate to ship project

All areas of discipline will have hands-on experience with the final product teamwork strategies and duties used in the project
