Important Information for College Bound Students
  • Summer Programs for Students

Attention all students! The Junior Statesmen Foundation is now sponsoring summer programs which students can attend to learn more about history and politics. Applications are available online at www.jsa.org. The deadline to submit all materials is May 16, 2008.

Looking for information about colleges in North Carolina? The College Foundation of North Carolina is a great resource for college entrance requirements, completing online admissions applications, finding resources for financing your college education and more.

  • College Board Web Site: Academic Tracker

The College Board web site has more to offer these days to students who are planning on going to college. At this site, students can see SAT/PSAT testing dates and can prepare to take the SAT/PSAT by accessing practice tests. Students may also compare their academic progress in high school to other students who potentially will apply to the same college. It is also possible see how individual high school courses compare to college requirements for admission.

Check it out and if you have not already created a student account, do so. Get yourself prepared for success!
