The Concert Band is an intermediate performing ensemble composed mostly of 9th, 10th, and 11th grade players. The Concert Band performs grade IV and V music. The Concert Band class is designed to reinforce basic music skills as well as introduce more advanced musical concepts while preparing for a number of concert performances. The Concert Band performs in a Winter Concert in December, in a Spring Concert in May, and at the SEBDA District Festival in March. The Concert Band most recently received a Superior Rating at the 2006 and 2007 District Festivals.
